The Uganda Gay On the Move (UGOM) was invited to attend this event by inviting the two founder members and a member (Chairman Moses Walusimbi, Matovu Julius Vice Chairman and Sango Joseph a UGOM member).
There will be poetry & music and a brief interview to the Ugandan LGBTI participants from UGOM about the current situation in Uganda after the law was put into force.
There shall be screening of the film “God Loves Uganda”. Which is expected to raise question such as: Why do priest use the bible in their hands to condemn and prosecute LGBTI people in Uganda? It is quite a unique screening and for the first time to be screened in the Netherlands timely to the big day celebrated in the Netherlands on 9th-June as the second Pentecost day which will be a reflection with poetry and more on the life of LGBTI persons in Africa especially where these draconian laws against homosexuality are enforced.
